Making Mud Bricks
This page is still under construction as i am still making the mud bricks :)
In the mean time please enjoy the photos!
- Start with about 10ltrs of water in the mixer
- Add a handful of straw
- Start digging!
- Fill the mixer from the pile
- Mixing
- Empty the mixer into the wheelbarrow
- A full barrow load
- The mud brick mould
- Start filling the mould
- Keep filling and pack down with the shovel
- Push the mud into the corners
- Pad down with the back of the shovel and level the top of the brick
- Lift the mould from the brick
- Start again!
- Bale of straw
- Stacked semi dried bricks
- Finnished product!
