Laying Muddies
- The mortar - 9 mud, 3 brickies sand, 1 lime
- You will need lots of this
- Spread the mortar about 30-50mm thick
- Ensure the perpendicular is well covered
- Spead the mortar so that you get a valley
- Gently lay the brick on the mortar and push up against the previous brick
- Ensure the brick is inline with the string line
- Check the brick for level
- Adjust with gentle taps with rubber mallet
- The perp (perpendicular)
- The laid brick
- Ready for the next brick
