Vicki joins Climate Change Coalition

Vicki Younger joins CCC team
Patrice Newell leads Climate Change Coalition team in NSW election bid

Vicki's belief that climate change can only be solved by decisive and immediate action led her to join Patrice Newell and other candidates in a bid for Upper House seats in the NSW parliament on March 24, 2007.

The Climate Change Coalition was formed mid 2006 to accelerate action by politicians from all parties on the most urgent and important issue in human history.

While the Coalition is not itself a political party it supports many Independent candidates who are committed to its platform.

Climate change is no abstract scientific or environmental issue. It impacts on every part of our daily lives. It is personal, local, national and global.

Erin Brockovich will speak at a fundraising dinner in Sydney on March 7. See the link below for full details.

How you can help

Visit the Climate Change Coalition website and become a volunteer on polling day, March 24. We need volunteers at polling booths in every region in NSW to assist members of the coalition to get elected.

You can also support the Climate Change Coalition by buying a ticket to the fundraiser in Sydney on March 7, and hear international environmental campaigner Erin Brockovich. The fundraiser is to help pay for the cost of printing and promotion of "how to vote" material.

Spread the word to your family, friends and colleagues by sending them the link to the coalition's website.

Vote number 1 for Patrice Newell "above the line" on the Upper House ballot paper. This will ensure we have maximum success in electing the largest number of candidates. The Climate Change Coalition is not a political party and will not be identified as such on the ballot paper.
