Vicki's Kitchen

The recipes featured on these pages focus on health without compromising on taste or quality.

I tend to avoid recipes that contain excessive saturated fat, or adapt the recipe to make a healthier version.

Wherever possible I've tried to include recipes containing ingredients with minimal processing.

Please see the Notes section at the bottom of this page for further information about some of the recipes featured in Vicki's Kitchen.

Additional information can be found in our ingredients section.

And don't forget to check our recipe index.

I hope you enjoy cooking these meals for your friends and family as much as I do.

I'll be adding more recipes from time to time, and soon we'll have photos for all the recipes featured on these pages.

Happy cooking

Vicki

Notes

Get to know your oven.

My oven is definitely hotter than it should be at the higher temperatures and I always have to adjust cooking times and temperatures for recipes that specify temperatures higher than 180 degrees C.

Even the more expensive ovens can have this problem, so if you find a recipe doesn't "work" as specified for cooking times or temperatures this could be the reason.
