These are rissoles with a difference and nothing like the ones you ate as a child. The honey in the gravy adds something that makes these a favourite with all ages. Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed greens. Serves 4.

I learned to cook this from our friend Devraj, whose mother passed the recipe to him. This is one of my favourite Indian dishes. Serve with steamed basmati rice or naan. Serves 6.

This is a favourite at home and we eat it regularly. Vary the vegetables according to what you have in season - broccoli and asian greens are a good combination. Serve with jasmine rice. Serves 4.
